Importance of Sports Physicals

Athletes who play sports wield an enormous amount of physical exertion and rigorous repetitive motions to their joints. Depending on the sport, physicality or activity, the organs go into overdrive. Underlying conditions during heightened physical activities can cause an untimely injury, organ failure, or immense fatigue. Prescreening these conditions during sports requires physical diligence and patience. We take pride in checking all vitals to give athletes reassurance in their physical ability to compete.

On-Site Sports Physicals

The on-site sports physicals are typically necessary for high school, junior high or little league programs. In the event thirty or more athletes need a sport physical, we will choose an on-site location for a specific day. Our staff will travel to the designated location and perform all physical examinations during the allotted time. Sports Physicals For Individuals

Any single athlete competing in a sport that needs a sports physical must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Individual rates are a flat one-time payment paid upon arrival for appointment.

Sports Physicals For Groups

We offer group rates for any party of five or more athletes that need a sport physical. The party responsible must email info@criteriontherapy.com or call 713.623.6306 two days in advance.

D.O.T. Physicals

D.O.T. Physicals

Whether you have just started a career in truck driving or been driving for years, a passing D.O.T. physical must be maintained for compliance with industry regulations. Our clinic is a state qualified and regulated D.O.T physical examination facility. Once an appointment is booked, we perform a urinalysis, vision test, and drug screening (if needed). Results will be given at the end of the examination to the patient and emailed/faxed to the employer.
